To minimise the impact of problems and re-occurring incidents on the business, caused by errors or failures within the IT infrastructure through effective root-cause analysis and error control.
Applying and adherence to the problem management process to establish the root cause of problems as well as error control. Effective problem solving, analysis and management reporting. Collaboration with Incident , Change management teams and Production areas to ensure the effectives of the problem management process within Group IT. Conducting Post Outage review meetings to investigate and determine the root cause of problems. Perform analysis on recurring events to proactively identify known errors and initiating Service Improvement plans to eradicate repeat incidents. Manage all proactive and reactive Service Improvement Plans initiated. Responsible for assembling and leading virtual cross-functional teams for Problem investigations. Manage and coordinating problem investigations through its entire lifecycle. Assist with improving the maturity of the Problem Management operational process across Group IT. Coordinates problem management activities with other Operational Process Coordinators. On an ongoing basis, review the process to identify, recommend and action any identified improvements. Ensure that Problem Management process, procedures and work instructions are followed across Group IT. Ownership, monitoring, tracking and escalation of the state of all problem investigations and error resolutions as well as the end to end process.
- Matric (minimum).
- ITIL Problem Management Certification.
- Project Management Certification.
- Degree or Diploma in Information Technology
- Minimum of 3 years ITIL process experience with vast knowledge of Incident, Problem and Change disciplines.
- 3 to 5 years experience in an IT Service or a Production Support environment.
- Experience in the ATM Self Service Channel would be an added advantage.
