Structured approach to problem resolution and system design Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003, 2000 & XP Network protocols - TCP/IP, IPX, NETBIOS, NETBEUI Database technology - Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005, Oracle 9.x/10.x.Email technology – knowledge of Exchange required with Lotus Notes/GroupWise desirable Educated to a degree level in an IT related field Trained in network architecture.
Desirable in depth knowledge of ‘helpdesk’ environments. Training in database design and structure. Training in presentation and communication skills training.

Key Result Areas to deliver full-implemented systems on time and with a high level of quality
These systems should be documented and functionally tested prior to being handed over to the on-site consultancy teams
Principal Accountabilities Working with Solution Architects to assess feasibility of solution requirements
These solutions need to be: Functionality complete (based on system design requirements)
Have complete system documentation based on consultancy guidelines
Have a completed test specification which is tested against the implemented solution Delivered on time with a high level of quality
Ensure effective communication between On-site consultancy teams, Project Managers and Support organisation Provide on-site consultancy work where required Provide effective second line support for the Product Support team on systems that have been implemented or recently handed over to the Support organisation.
Provide telephone support and where required on-site assistance to on-site consultancy team during on-site implementations Job Context This individual will be working very closely with the Solution Architect team and will be required to work to tight deadlines to deliver implementations on time but without compromising the quality of the solution. The work that is implemented by the Implementation consultant will be delivered, installed and tested on-site by the field consultancy team. The individual must have: A consistent approach to communication, attitude and workload. A passion for meeting deadlines and ensure quality of work delivered. It is the implementation consultant’s responsibilities to ensure that solutions are delivered on time
